Uses
There are two distinguishable usage categories for a UPV. These are:
- Temporary structure for a single event or series of events, such as corporate hospitality, sporting event, wedding reception, film or television on-location facility.
- Roadshow/Touring exhibition. Touring content across multiple, geographically distant, locations. This could be in the form of a public display, training centre or a retail outlet for example.
Temporary Structure
A UPV is the complete package as an elite temporary structure. If you are looking for a temporary structure of around 80 sqm a UPV may be the best choice. It has several advantages over the traditional options like marquees or portable buildings. It has premium comfort levels reflective of a lounge environment rather than a temporary structure. These advantages include:
- Weather resilience – A UPV is not at the mercy of the weather because it is in essence a building. It has hard sides, a soli, carpeted floor raised off ground level with a large access ram. It is sealed from the elements.
- Onboard power for internal and external supply, supplied by generator, batteries or shore power lead. It has a certified distribution board with RCD protection, with ample supply of floor recessed power points.
- Built in lighting.
- Carpeted floor.
- Small kitchen/service area.
- Air-conditioned, temperature controlled.
- Secure – Both entrances can be secured and have a monitored alarm.
- Large load space for events over multiple locations.
- Optional framed marquee of 9 x 6 metres that fits over the entranceway to provide a sheltered entrance and additional space.
Roadshow – Mobile exhibition
A UPV is purpose built for touring exhibitions – there is no equal on this scale. It is the venue and transportation in one vehicle. It can be operated by a single person where appropriate. It is an incredibly efficient model for a touring Roadshow.
All of the features listed for the Temporary Structure apply and additionally there is efficient relocationn and branding opportunities. Check out some examples of previous uses.
